One of the UK's most visited museums, the Kelvingrove is a real Glasgow treasure, with a number of internationally significant conditions. It's a great day out for all the family - entry is free - with lots of interactive displays for young minds. There is also a couple of cafes within the museum and shops for keepsake from your visit.

Founded in 1451, The University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest University within the English-speaking world, and today is a broad-based research institution with a global reach. There are tours available of the historic and beautiful grounds as well as a gift shop and cafe.

Situated at the heart of Glasgow, The Lighthouse acts as a beacon for the creative industries in Scotland; promoting design and architecture through a vibrant programme of exhibitions and events. The tower was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the building was later renovated and is now Scotland's centre for Architecture Design and the City.

The Burrell Collection is one of the greatest art collections in the world, which was donated by Sir William Burrell in 1944. It houses a unique collection of over 9,000 objects and with family-friends activities; it's a must see for any visitor in Glasgow!

Right in the centre of the city, with the well-known Duke of Wellington statue outside, GoMA is the most visited gallery in Scotland. The iconic building also houses the city centre library, alongside a cafe. The Tenement House was the late Miss Agnes Toward's four-room house, which she left to the church in her will. The potential of the flat, as a visitor attraction, was recognised as it had remained completely unchanged from the early 20th century.

Voted European Museum of the year 2013, the iconic Riverside is a must-see for all. People's Palace

Gain a wonderful insight to how Glaswegians lived, worked and played in the years gone by. Scotland Street Museum

Designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the museum tells a story of 100 years' of education. You can follow the activity train around the school and, once you are exhausted from all the fun, the Willow cafe and gift shop is available.

The Glasgow City Chambers has formed a municipal government in the city since 1888. This beautiful building overlooks George Square and there are daily tours available, which accommodate anyone walking in to join the tour, meaning there is no need to book.
