The senior team at McGill's issued a statement
saying that they were ‘pleased', in
response to the Competition Commission's decision on their
company's purchase of the assets of Arriva Scotland West in March of this
year. McGill's Board of Directors, commented: "We are delighted with the outcome announced by the
Competition Commission today (21 September). Our number
one priority has always been, and will continue to be, to provide a
first-class, reliable and cost-effective service for our passengers”.
