Better Times in Renfrewshire

We know your number one demand is that our buses are on time for you. That’s why we’ve reviewed our timetables on the routes below and will introduce some changes to improve our punctuality from Monday 18 March 2024. We’re also introducing a new, direct connection between Paisley and QEUH by combining routes 21 and 23. Read on for more details.

Switch 3 Neilston – Barrhead – Silverburn – Shawlands – Glasgow

A new timetable will be introduced with additional time being added primarily at rush hours and during the afternoon. Whilst the same number of journeys will continue to run, the times of your journey may change.

7/7A Paisley – Ferguslie Park – Phoenix Retail Park – Linwood

21 Paisley – Newmains – Braehead

We’ll continue to run approximately every 30 minutes but will now run as the 23P with the majority of buses continuing from Braehead to Glasgow via QEUH and Govan, providing even easier access to the hospital. Evening journeys, supported by SPT, will run 10 minutes later due to requests from customers to better tie in with shift finish times at Braehead.

Switch 23 23P Erskine & Renfrew or Paisley – Braehead – QEUH – Glasgow

A new timetable will be introduced with additional time being added particularly at rush hours. We’ll continue to run to & from Erskine every 30 minutes for much of the day, combining with the X23 to provide buses every 15 minutes on the common route between Erskine and Braehead.

Between Braehead and Glasgow via QEUH and Govan, buses will run as either the 23 or 23P and continue providing a bus every 15 minutes during the day.

Buses running to & from Paisley, covering the former 21 route above, will show 23P on the front, whilst buses running to & from Erskine will show 23 on the front.

23D Inchinnan Depot - Erskine

There will be some minor adjustments to the times of buses which operate between Inchinnan Depot and Erskine, primarily in the early morning and evening.

X23 Erskine – Renfrew – Braehead – M8 – Glasgow

A new timetable will be introduced with additional time being added throughout the day to improve our timekeeping. Like now, buses will continue to run every 30 minutes with extra buses at rush hours, combining with the 23 to provide buses every 15 minutes on the common route between Erskine and Braehead.

32 Johnstone – Kilbarchan

There will be some minor adjustments to the times of journeys which operate between Johnstone Depot and Kilbarchan, primarily in the early morning and evening.

Switch 38 Johnstone – Paisley – Glasgow

A new timetable will be introduced with additional time being added primarily at rush hours and during the late afternoon to improve our timekeeping. Whilst the same number of journeys will continue to run, the times of your journey may change.

51A Johnstone Depot – Barrhead/Paisley

There will be some minor adjustments to the times of journeys which operate between Johnstone Depot and Barrhead/Paisley, primarily in the early morning and evening.
