Are you ready to drive your career forward? McGill’s is on the lookout for a dynamic Stores Manager to join our great time at our Greenock Depot. You will play a pivotal role in the seamless operation of our vehicle part store and as a key player you will take charge of many responsibilities including receiving, inspecting, and stocking vehicle parts and accessories all while ensuring a spotless and well-organized store environment. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional customer service collaborating with suppliers and team members and ensuring the availability of essential parts, then we want you on board!
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling
- Receive and inspect incoming vehicle parts and accessories to ensure quality and accuracy
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
- Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the store room
- Receive, unload, and shelve supplies and stock
What you’ll bring to us:
- Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Previous experience in vehicle parts store or similar environment is desirable
- Valid clean driver’s license is desirable
