Winter with McGill's
The festive season is here, so we’ve put together a handy guide to get you around, along with information about local events and attractions that you can travel to this winter for a great day out with McGill’s.
Whether you are dashing out for some last minute gifts or visiting family and friends, opt for the bus and remember if you are under 22 or over 60 you can travel free with a National Entitlement Card.
Festive Timetables
Saturday 23rd December - All McGill’s buses will run to normal timetable.
Sunday 24th December* - We’ll run to Sunday timetable with some buses finishing earlier
Monday 25th December - No buses will run.
Tuesday 26th December - We’ll run to Sunday timetable. Buses on the 1/1A, 2/2A, 6, 10, 17/17A, 30, 32, 124, 264, 330A, 364, 374, 507, 518, 521/521A, 530, 535, 550, 904, X21/XP21, X22 and X23 won’t run.
Wednesday 27th December - We’ll run to Saturday timetable. Buses on the 49, 59, 64/164,121, 124, 264, 307/307A, 330A, 337, 364, 374, 521/521A, 578, M7 and X22 will run to normal service.
Thursday 28th December - We’ll run to Saturday timetable. Buses on the 49, 59, 64/164, 121, 124, 264, 307/307A, 330A, 337, 364, 374,521/521A, 578, M7 and X22 will run to normal service.
Friday 29th December - We’ll run to Saturday timetable. Buses on the 49, 59, 64/164, 121, 124, 264, 307/307A, 330A, 337, 364, 374, 521/521A, 578, M7 and X22 will run to normal service.
Saturday 30th December - We’ll run to normal Saturday timetable.
Sunday 31st December* - We’ll operate to Sunday timetable with some buses finishing earlier. Our nightbuses N3, N4, N6, N38 and N60 will run as normal in the early hours of New Year's Day until 3:45am, to make your Hogmanay night out even easier.
Monday 1st January - No buses will run.
Tuesday 2nd January - We’ll run to Sunday timetable. Buses on the 1/1A, 2/2A, 6, 10, 17/17A, 30, 32, 124, 264, 330A, 364, 374, 507, 518, 521/521A, 530, 535, 550, 904, X21/XP21, X22 and X23 won’t operate.
Wednesday 3rd January - Buses will return to normal service.
*Buses will run to our usual Sunday timetable on Sunday 24th and 31st December, with some buses finishing earlier. Check here for more information.
