This is Adventure. This is Clyde Flyer Country
A bigger timetable this autumn for Clyde Flyer 901 and 906
From 2nd September, some of the key timetable improvements we introduced at the start of the summer on the popular Clyde Flyer 901 and 906 between Glasgow, Greenock and Largs will continue throughout the autumn.
We’ll still be running every 15 mins for much of the day with the extra buses during evenings and all day on Sundays.
Here’s the highlights:
- Double the buses on Sundays: every 30 mins Glasgow-Greenock-Largs
Buses on the 901 and 906 will each run every hour, meaning we’ll be running every 30 mins along the shared sections of route
- Last bus from Glasgow 11pm Thu/Fri/Sat
To make the most of those events in the city, we’ll still be running extra departures at 9pm, 10pm and 11pm from Glasgow to Greenock/Gourock on Clyde Flyer 901.
The extra buses we’ve been running between Lunderston Bay and Greenock will no longer operate after Saturday 31st August, however we’ll still be running our main 901 Glasgow to Largs journeys every 30 minutes along this part of the route.
Remember, as well as great value fares on board and on the McGill’s app, you can use Clyde Flyer for free with your NEC or Young Scot card if you’re over 60 or under 22.
