Service 901, 906 & 906X - A78 Roadworks
Due to storm damage on the A78 Shore Road between Wemyss Bay and Largs, the road will partially reopen from 06:30 on Monday 9th November 2026. It will close daily between 09:30 and 15:00 for repairs.
Services 901, 906 and 906X will return to a partial timetable, but during the closure will terminate at Wemyss Bay with no service through to Largs. The 905-shuttle will continue to run a limited service between Largs and Greenock.
Passengers travelling to or from Glasgow and Braehead can connect between the 905-shuttle and the X7 at Candren Road, Linwood, or via the 901 or 906 to Braehead then the X7 to Linwood.
