Student Tickets
Student ID Policy
From 1 August, all students must show a valid college or university matriculation card when buying and using discounted student tickets or student mobile tickets (mTickets).
Your matriculation card must include a photo and an expiry date.
You can upload your student ID in the McGill's app and get verified before you travel. Student verification must be renewed at the start of each academic year, so if you've previously verified your ID, you'll need to complete the process again for the new academic year.
Please carry your student ID with you, as you may be asked to present it.

Young Persons' Freedom Pass
Young people living in Scotland are entitled to free bus travel with a NEC card. Visit getyournec.scot to apply once you're all settled in (because you'll need proof-of-address first).
